Rule 9 - Put Down the Book

Rule 9 - Yep, I see you.  Sitting there in traffic.  Rather than paying attention to the cars driving around you or perhaps listening to a fascinating segment on NPR…what are you doing?  Oh wait…now I know…you’re reading a friggin Harry Potter book.  Reading.  In traffic.  I don’t know you nor would I ever want to.  Why?  Cause you suck.  That book will be there later.  If you keep reading in traffic, one of these days you might not.  Lameass.

Rule 8 - Excess Not the Bestest

Rule 8 - There are probably very few things (if any) in this world that should be taken in excess.  Moderation doesn’t leave you wanting more, nor does it leave you wanting less.  Even awesomeness needs to be throttled back on occasion…rarely…well ok…maybe awesomeness is the exception to the rule here.

Rule 6 - Go Out Somewhere Alone

Dining Out At A Restaurant Alone  Rule 6 - Go out somewhere alone.  Many people have a fear of doing certain things out in public alone.  Go see a movie, or eat dinner at a restaurant by yourself.  Start out small like the movies…this one is the kiddie pool step…think about it for a sec…you cant talk to the person you are with during the movie anyway…so it’s like you are there alone already.  For a lot of folks, this will take them completely out of their comfort zone…but that is a good thing.  Where’s the adventure in life if you never leave that zone and experience something slightly out of your element.  If you aren’t comfortable hanging with yourself…how can you expect anyone else to.?  Give this a shot as it will make you a more rounded person and will boost your self-confidence…which is awesome.

Rule 1 - Basic Principle of Awesomeness

Rule 1:  Awesomeness is not a physical quality, it is a state of mind.  Awesome can be achieved at any time by anyone.
